Hello, Mother Nature?

Hello Mother Nature?
It's me, Chatty.
Thanks for keeping the hurricanes away this year-I really appreciate it. Especially since FPL still hasn't properly fixed the electrical issues brought on by Hurricane Wilma in 2005 and they are raising our rates and all. And their service? Leaves much to be desired, thanks for asking.
Regardless, I am very grateful you decided to send those storms out to sea this year because really, I have been slacking a bit and need to replace some shutters and make some repairs that I haven't really gotten around to yet.
So the reprieve?
Really nice of you.
Oh, MN? While we are on the subject of how great and wonderful you are, I have a teeny, tiny favor to ask of you. Today, I turned on the TV to check out the weather. And well, that weather guru on channel 7 mentioned some kind of cold front coming this weekend. I got totally excited about that, because really, our temperatures have been a bit extreme as of late-90+ degrees and it is October and all. And I was wondering, if you could somehow make that cold front be like cold-meaning below 75 degrees?
I know, this might be a stretch for you and all, but it has been mighty warm and toasty since like March and really, I'm kinda looking for some cooler temps-ya know what I mean?
Especially this weekend.
Mike and I, we are going to take the kids pumpkin picking this weekend and it would be nice if somehow, you could find it in your Mother Nature-like heart to stop the sweat from rolling down our backs for just a day or two. Maybe bring in a light breeze, send the humidity on a little va-ca, you know what I'm saying?
I mean, did you forget about South Florida and ummm...Fall? We are needing some temperatures below 75 to kinda get into the whole Halloween/Thanksgiving spirit and all. I mean, the sun is beautiful and bright, but really, the heat is just a wee much. And just in case you forgot, summer is supposed to end in August, September at the latest and then, it's supposed to get a bit cooler in these parts. So, how about some Fall teasing, eh?
Think about it.
Please?

-Mrs. Chattypants

(PS) I am posting a picture of fall leaves in case you forgot. I know MN, that changing leaves is a bit much to ask for here in South Florida, but it never hurts to ask, right?
